Project – Schedule NORWAY
We have
followed the headings from the plan for visits from the meeting in theCzech
republic in November 2011.
1.
These are the issues that will be
worked on towards the visit in Norway – september 2012
-
What
is peace? What is the opposite of peace?
What is a hero? Pupils giving shorts answers in a video and sending this
“assignment” over to the other partner school, and hope they will do the same.
Teachers introducing the project for the pupils through this assignment. Making
a Comenius board, with a presentation of all the countries that are involved.
Giving focus to the project in august.

What
is the Nobel peace prize, and who were Alfred Nobel?
2.
These are the issues that will be
worked on towards the visit in Slovakia – December 2012
-
Focus
on the current Nobel peace prize in Oslo.

Presentations on Nobel Prize winners (from all
over the world), what makes this persons heroes? In what way have they fought
for peace?
a) Students prepare
presentations on Nobel Prize winners (they choose from the famous winners from
all over the world)
b) Within-the-school
competition – children vote for the Nobel Prize winner they like best, or that amaze or impress them the most
(they have to motivate their choice, prepare the presentation, present
characteristics of a great person)
c) International
competition for all the partners – Internet voting via the website (again, the
students motivate their choice, prepare the presentation, present
characteristics of a great person)
3.
These are the issues that will be
worked on towards the visit in Croatia – April 2013

Current
heroes in our country: persons and organizations who have done a great job for
the people in Norway.

Peace
concert – Live to the other countries from Norway. Also inviting kindergartens
and grandparents
4.
These are the issues that will be
worked on towards the visit in Poland – September 2013
-
What
is a hero? What makes a person a hero? Who are the heroes in our school? In our
classroom? In the school yard? What is a good deed? How to be a good friend?
Rules in the school? Make a “pay it forward” project (like in the movie).
5.
These are the issues that will be
worked on towards the visit in Austria – November 2013

Christmas
workshop and market.

Art
exhibition where the money goes to our charity project. Inviting the local women's association making Norwegian handcraft. We can make
videos of how to make the different products. presenting the charity events results
6.
These are the issues that will be
worked on towards the visit in Czech republic – March 2014: Conclusion/final
report.
